I don't think it's a bible of relationships, but this book together with other books can complete a puzzle of how a good marriage and family should work. Amazing insightful book. Must have in any library shelf and reread often
I love this book. My wife and I read chapters of it, and we discuss it - in the comfort of our bed, with an iPad. Intimacy, privacy, tenderness... A great book that is crystal clear.
Very good, except the author subscibe to the secular Humanist definition of love as emotion. In Deut. 6 Moses said, Hear O Israel. . .love the LORD your G-d with all your mind, heart and strength . . . G-d is love and he who abides in love abides in G-d & G-d in him.
Started watching Mannis videos online and his way of expressing about many topics invited me to read his books. Loved it
I am a relatively new fan of Rabbi Friedman, I have only recently started following him on u-tube. I am not Jewish but I feel his wisdom transcends all religious boundaries. His lectures offer a frame work which allows the viewer to come to grips with Gods relationship with the individual and the world. It doesn't hurt that he has a sense of humor either.
One of the best books I have ever read on the subject of marriage. An essential read full of wisdom for Christians (like me) and Jews alike.The information in this book should be marriage 101 and needs to be taught to everyone who wants a rich and full relationship in marriage and with God.
What a good book about a sensitive topic. Finally someone teaches what true intimacy is about. I've read the other book as well written by the same author the joy of intimacy. Also great and very clear. It's about time we reclaim some truth and reality along with sincerity in our relationships.
